BOOKINGS

We always quote for each individual trip. Our charges are for the whole trip, not per person. Unless you are staying overnight at a hotel - there are no extras; no commissions, no service charges, no taxes, no tips.

Your guide will pay for museum entrance tickets and meals on the Continent so no need to worry about changing money into Euros – nor the language.

The Overlord Tour can be spread over two days with a night in the charming old city of Bayeux. Our trip to see the Swiss Alps requires an overnight stay just south of Switzerland’s fairy tale capital, Berne.

If you’re staying overnight you will need credit cards for your hotel and also some cash for shopping. Your guide speaks French and German.

HOW TO BOOK

Although we can fly in any weather we always suggest that you offer more than one date in case the weather conditions are particularly poor on an individual day. Both flying and ground tours of Normandy are much more enjoyable in fine weather. We keep a close watch on the weather over the Alps – during all seasons conditions are often perfect with crystal clear air and spectacular colours.

PRICES

A day outing to Normandy with our Piper Seneca twin-engine aircraft – remember we always quote for each tour and our prices are from hotel front step back to hotel front step – costs a little over £2,350 for the whole party. This aircraft is comfortable with two adults and two children or up to three adults on board.

Parties of four adults or five adults/children fly in a Piper Navaho; the whole tour costs around £3,300 for the entire party.

Our largest aircraft – the Islander - seats eight adults/children and the whole tour costs around £4,400 for the entire party. These prices cover everyone for the whole day.

We gladly arrange hotel accommodation – rest assured that we don’t earn any commission, we simply ask the hotel to bill you direct - should you wish to stay overnight in France and spend two days on the Overlord Tour.

Like any other airline, we expect payment for tickets before passengers board the aircraft. Thus we require payment 72 hours ahead of departure. If a trip is cancelled with less than 24 hours warning we reserve the right to charge 50% of the tour cost – this does not apply in cases of force majeure.
